MP3.com  An technology/entertainment company that reached a valuation exceeding 6 billion dollars.


"The Complete Idiot's Guide to MP3," written with Nat Gertler and published internationally in several languages.


"The Complete Idiot's Guide to Making Millions on the Internet," written with Nat Gertler and sold internationally.


"Science Friction", an album of music by Rod Underhill which was the first all MP3 format album sold worldwide

via brick and mortar stores (and online) by a major publisher.


Current Projects

 

Podlinez.com/Songnumbers.com/Phonecasting.com. A collection of mobile phone technologies owned by the same company, Bandtones LLC. Underhill received a 2008 Webby Award (People's Voice Award) for this project.


Unannounced dating site project. Underhill assisted in the completion of a 45 page patent application demonstrating new technologies for the dating space. To be launched in 2009.


Unannounced patent project. If granted, this patent will be worth more than a billion dollars.  This particular patent is the product of more than nine years of labor. The patent concerns MP3 based technologies that impact both the mobile market and the Internet.


Unannounced auction site project. New technologies are being designed with the assistance of Underhill that will dramatically alter the online auction space.


Time Tracking Buddy. Software project. Currently being tested by a major national health care provider. 


  New web site project that provides entertainment for children/parents.   Launch date Jan 1, 2009?


Emergency assistance: Underhill swiftly closed down a site that was pirating the intellectual property of his client, (2008).


Business sales: Underhill assisted in the sale of an online business (million dollar range) and an online hosting company (somewhat less than a million dollars) so far in 2008. 


Numerous addiitonal projects are in development and will be announced in the near future.
